Checkered Flag Racing And Devon Sandeen Victorious In Las Vegas |

Chilliwack, BC. – June 6, 2006
– British Columbia resident and Checkered Flag Racing pilot Devon Sandeen (First Kart / Fellner Power) scored two podium results this past weekend at the Stars of Karting event in Primm, NV. With the results, Sandeen has taken command in the National Spec 125 class point standings.
In Saturday’s action, Sandeen worked together with FirstKart.com’s, Fellner powered Eric Gerrits and was able to steer his Fellner Powered First Kart across the line in P2. Looking for his third Stars of Karting victory this season, Sandeen got it all right on Sunday scoring the victory in another one-two finish for the First Kart Fellner Power competitors.
Joining Sandeen in the Spec Racer class was Checkered Flag Racing Ltd.’s Billy Leininger and Arly Irish with True North Motorsports Nicholas Fairney, and FirstKart.com Eric Gerrits all driving FirstKart / Fellner powered Parilla equipment. Arly Irish and Billy Leininger who were fast all weekend long but ran into some bad luck in the final. Fairney was able to score a 16 th and 4 th place finishes while Leininger came home in 7 th and 11 th. Irish had the speed all weekend long to run inside the top ten but some on track incidents hindered any chances of a strong result.
“It was a great weekend for the whole Checkered Flag Racing and FirstKart.com operations,” explained George Fellner. “Between the two of us we claimed four of the six podium positions plus two Team awards and would have swept Sunday’s podium if Leininger wasn’t deliberately driven into the hay bales by another competitor.”
Continuing to support CFR throughout the 2006 racing season will be Alarmtron, Bob Sinclair, Bosch Spark Plugs, Full Circle Disposals, Kodiak Motorsports Inc., Nicklom,Conlin & Company, On Track Promotions, Russell Karting Specialites, TRK Helicopters Ltd. and True North Motorsports.
